House Parties*
A house party with Gardening the Community is a fundraising event organized by a GTC supporter. At a house party, the supporter invites family, friends, neighbors, and/or colleagues to learn about GTC, meet our youth, Board members and staff, and make a gift in support of our work. House parties can be done at your home, or at a restaurant, community center, or park. We will work with you to make the event your own!
*Please note that GTC House Parties are postponed until Covid-19 gathering restrictions are lifted. Thank you for understanding.
Community Fundraisers
Much like house parties, these are fundraising events organized by a GTC supporter. These can be longer-term campaigns or single-day events, typically run through a community organization, local business, or faith community. We will work with you to support any specific fundraising goals, and offer resources to help you achieve them.
We love the opportunity to build relationships and expand the base of people supporting food justice, healthy food access and youth leadership development in Springfield. Please see below to fill out an interest form and for photos of past fundraising events. Thank you for your support!
