GTC EATS! Summer Farm Share
GTC EATS! is our Farm Share (also known as a CSA, which stands for Community Supported Agriculture). This program brings healthy, fresh food grown without any chemicals or pesticides to families and elders in our community.
The Summer 2023 share is available for 16 weeks from July 5th-October 18th. Participating in this share will give you local, seasonal, nutrient-dense produce in satisfying quantities. Share items will change throughout the weeks as the seasons shift.

Which share is right for me?Full Season Member: This means you are with us for the full season! You will automatically get a share every week. If you have to miss any weeks you must communicate with the GTC EATS! Manager one week in advance, or else you will be charged for that week.
Low-Income Share: This share is for individuals or families with low income. These shares can be paid for in part with the HIP benefits that come with SNAP to reduce the cost. Final cost will be determined on a case by case basis. Senior Share Member: For low income seniors who qualify. Check the following to see if it matches with your situation:
Monthly Member: We welcome members signing up at any point in the season or for a monthly commitment. |

Share pickup
The shares are available on Wednesdays from 2:00pm-6:00pm and Thursdays from 11am-6:00pm at the GTC Farm Store (200 Walnut St. Springfield, MA 01105). Remember to bring your reusable bags!
Payment and policies
We accept check, debit, credit card, and EBT payments. Payments must be made one week in advance or at pickup. We encourage customers to pay for the whole season up front if you have the ability to, as this helps us keep costs down! You must pay for each week you have ordered a share, even if you forget to pick it up. If you fall behind or miss a payment, we will suspend membership until you are paid up in full.
All full season share members must pay a deposit to reserve your place. We will apply this deposit to your first share payments. If this a hardship for you, please let us know and we will accommodate.

ALL GTC FARM SHARES AND FARM STORE PURCHASES OF FRUITS AND VEGGIES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR HIP
Customers using their SNAP dollars to pay for fresh fruits or veggies at GTC will immediately earn money back on their card -- from $40 - $80/mo depending on family size!!
If you come to GTC with SNAP dollars on your card, you will very likely be able to get your fruits and veggies for free - as long as you have not used up your HIP benefit for the month.
Please help us spread the word - many families don't know about this benefit and are not getting their free food each month.
