Help support our critical work in 2022

While our work remains more critical than ever, GTC remains resilient. We continue to lead as one of a handful of Black-led youth farming organizations in New England. GTC youth returned to a revitalized youth curriculum, new staff brought important new skills and knowledge to our programs, and we continued to grow delicious, pesticide-free fruits, vegetables, and herbs for our neighbors.

Your gift today supports the work of GTC to build a more equitable, sustainable, and racially just food system and grow youth leadership this winter and into next year.
Help us reach our $48,000 goal!
With your support, over the winter months, we will:
  • grow micro-greens and other winter cold weather crops in our greenhouse
  • keep our Community Farm Store open safely as a resource for our neighbors and those receiving HIP benefits in Springfield and beyond
  • run a 16 week long winter farm share program serving families and elders, providing low-cost farm shares to those unable to pay full price
  • work with our youth to develop their critical thinking and leadership skills and learn more deeply about food and racial justice, regenerative farming, and the vegetables we grow
  • continue to adapt our youth programming, Farm Store and farm share operations, and volunteering opportunities to serve our neighbors in this challenging time
