Growing for the better - support GTC in 2021

This year has been challenging, but GTC is resilient. We know that with the support of our community and friends, our organization will remain strong in 2021 - but we need your help to grow into that future. We would like to share a letter from GTC's Board Chair, Liz O'Gilvie:

"As always, I hope this finds you and your loved ones doing very, very well.

The calendar tells me that it's Spring but the temperatures outside tell a very different story! The heat and drought present increased challenges at the beginning of the growing season and our team is working hard to meet them. During the last few growing seasons, these episodes of extreme heat and drought have made the importance of our work even more apparent... I will say to you, as I do with our youth: when we plant a seedling, we are not just growing food—we are working to save our planet!
I also always remind our youth that we are able to do what we do because of the investments made by our donors and sustainers. Thank You for making all that we do possible!"

Your generosity this spring will help us:
  • Grow nutritious, delicious food for our community
  • Improve the capacity of our Farm Store to be a resource for our neighbors
  • Provide low cost Farm Shares for families and elders unable to pay the full price
  • Provide food at no cost to young people in GTC's youth program
  • Implement our newly redesigned summer youth curriculum to its full potential
  • Run a new season of bike delivery options for housebound elders and families
  • Respond to community members facing food emergencies
  • Grow our own capacity as an organization

Your gift today supports the work of GTC to build a more equitable food system and grow youth leadership.  Thank you.
