...the farm has started to quiet down, but is by no means inactive! Our farm manager Kami and some of the youth are still hard at work, preparing beds for next years' planting, while still harvesting eggplant, greens, late-season tomatoes, and LOTS of hot peppers. They have harvested nearly twenty-two pounds today, and they are on sale for $4.00 a pound.
The Walnut Street Farm Store will continue to be open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10-6 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, ad Friday, and 9-3 on Saturdays, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF Friday 10/18, when we will be closed for the day. The holiday season is right around the corner, and we will be posting our hours for the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years as soon as we decide how to best be here for our community.
